B I O G R A P H Y

 

Ashley Thurow is a Senior BFA Acting major at Texas State University. While studying at Texas State her stage credits have included Anya in Chekov’s The Cherry Orchard and the female lead in Lungs by Duncan Macmillan, a story about a couple grappling with the idea of being parents in a modern world while experiencing the turmoils of miscarriage, infidelity, birth and death. Her film credits include a featured role in a faculty directed short film, The Way We Weave. Ashley has also done voice over work with Sentai Film Works, under the ADR direction of Christopher Ayres. While studying abroad across the pond, she took classes at the Royal Shakespeare Company with Lyn Darnley (Voice and Text Work) and the London Globe Theatre with Jo Haworth (Playing the Globe). She has also workshopped with Bob Krakower (on-camera work), Christopher Durang and John Augustine (mock audition), and Erik Leiberman (auditioning) and is trained in dialects work and moderate stage combat. She was most recently seen in Texas State’s spring production of Tennessee William’s, A Streetcar Named Desire, as Mrs. Stella Kowalski.
